Femen activist from Brazil Sara Winter was fired for taking part in topless protests.
Sara Winter, an activist of the women's movement FEMEN in Brazil has lost her job of a journalist after taking part in the topless protest and statement of het intent to go to the Ukraine, the host country of EURO 2012, to participate in the campaign to combat sex tourism and prostitution, together with Ukrainian and French colleagues.
Macho employers have not forgiven the uncommon for Brazilians militant dislike of football, marching in close conjunction with the sex industry and have taken the repression activity and dismissed girl from work. In the same situation in 2010, also was an activist of FEMEN Inna Shevchenko, who was dismissed from the press service of the KSCA for taking part in a protest against the lack of women in the Cabinet of Azarov.
Such measures are used for FEMEN activists only in countries that are far from true democracy, where men with their patriarchal laws assign women in the society a place solely as a slave in the kitchen or in bed. For example, in France FEMEN activists have repeatedly protested in Paris topless and safely continue to operate, including in the public service. It can be concluded that Ukraine and Brazil both regard the democratic ideals of Europe through the ass.
