British Tourist Risks Prison After Being Gang-raped in Dubaï

As a young British tourist currently risks prison, flogging and even stoning to death after being gang-raped in Dubaï, FEMEN is outraged! When she reported her rape to the authorities, she was the one charged with “extra-marital sex”, a crime inspired by the Sharia law. She cannot leave the country and is waiting for her trial.

Annabelle from FEMEN UK, here in front of the United Arab Emirates embassy in London, came to remind that all laws inspired from religious morals violate the most fundamental human rights – first for women – wether they are from Sharia or not.
