Stop violence against women

Dilek Doğan, 25 years old woman was shot by Turkish police during a search inside her house in the Küçükarmutlu district of Istanbul. Police organized a check in Dilek’s house that is supposed to be a part of an operation against the outlawed Revolutionary People’s Liberation Party-Front (DHKP-C). Dilek was shot by policemen in a chest and died in hospital. Reports Turkish Hurriyet.
“The murderer of our client, Dilek Doğan, is the AKP,” the lawyers representing the Doğan family said in a Twitter message immediately after she died on October 25.
According to her family, Dilek was shot by a police officer during the search. Dilek asked policemen to take off his shoes once he entered the house. The policemen refused, pointed the gun at Dilek and shot her.
Such a horrific incident simply mirrors the actual situation in Turkey, where the ruling Justice and Development Party of Erdogan (AKP) has no borders for their violence and injustice against citizens, no borders for hunting the opposition and no borders for attacking women, who will always be the first victims of any crisis.
Erdogan and his regime reached the limits of inhumanity and terror against his citizens. Same as this regime killed Dilek, it is killing Turkey.
FEMEN calls to raise the resistance against the murderer Erdogan and his AKP in Turkey and elsewhere. What we want is that Turkish people don’t give up their dreams for freedom that they deserve. What we want, is that the world gets rid of ugly tyranny such as the one of Erdogan, as we all don’t deserve it.
Turkey, resist the regime that already killed Dilek and many others, fight the leader that targeted Dilek and many of you.
Let’s stand up together united, rather than divided and get back our rights and freedom. There will be revenge for the death of Dilek, there will be revenge for oppressed Turkey, there will be revenge for our kidnapped freedom.
