The Manifesto FEMEN

FEMEN Manifesto will be officially presented in Parisian feminist library Des Femmes on 14th of April at 19.00. L’Espace des Femmes 35, rue Jacob 75006 PARIS

Being at the same time our  political answer, an ideological resource and an instruction manual for the future FEMEN activists, this manifesto will allow both our supporters and sceptics to better understand  our intentions and to know our words behind the actions.  We believe in the power of frontal action, sometimes spontaneous, in the street, collective and reckless, but be sure we are invigorated by an absolute ideology, constant and incorruptible, the manifesto will be the proof of it. What does feminist’s fight has to do with fight against dictatorship, why against prostitution instead of legalising it and why the blasphemy is needed… All answers are spelled inside the FEMEN manifesto together with various aspects of our fight: history, motivations, convictions, methods, sextremism, slogans, targets… The FEMEN manifesto is a collective intellectual work of activists across the globe,  we propagated them together from Ukraine to the rest of the world.

FEMEN activists have created and continue to carry these ideas in spite of the arrests, the threats, the personal obstacles, the violence of the regimes and the extremist aggressions. We have carried them alongside many ideological friends that suffer and even died for similar ideas. Experiencing the risk for our lives today simply for carrying these ideas for humanistic progress, we understand how powerful they are and how much it is needed to spell them out. Loud. Louder than gun’s of extremists. Louder than their threats.
